Life Story for William Henry Foreman

William Henry Foreman
FOREMAN, William “Lefty”
Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 85 surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Beloved husband and best friend for 65 years to Shirley. Loving father of Deborah Thorne (Herb), Claude (Sylvia), Ricky (Elizabeth), Brenda (Rick), and Jay (Susan). Cherished grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Margaret Lynch, sister Mary Louis Comeau, brothers Jackie Lanaza, Donnie Lynch and Gary Lynch. Bill joined the American Armed Forces at the age of 17. He received the Bronze Star for Bravery in 1951 at the age of 19 which stated “with complete disregard of his own safety, he fulfilled his duties.” He learned how to play the drum and joined the Memorial Band at a young age. This passion continued throughout his life playing with several Pipe Band for many years. He was always a pleasure to be around and will be deeply missed by many. Shirley would like to express her gratitude to her children and especially her daughter- in-law Sylvia for all of the help and loving care that was given to Bill. Special thanks to CarePartners and St. Elizabeth’s for taking loving care of Bill and going out of their way to make him comfortable. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow at a later date. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.morseandson.com
