Life Story for Bedrich "Peter" Matyas
MATYAS, Bedrich “Peter” – Passed away at home with his family by his side on Friday November 24, 2017 at the age of 72. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Vlasta “Vally” of 50 years. He will also be missed by his 3 children Vlasta Jr., Alex (David) and Tom (Christine) and his 7 grandchildren; Jessica (Greg), Robyn, Alicia, Zachary, Christian, Natalie and Ryan and great-granddaughter Cassidy. He also leaves behind his brothers and sister and their families. Bedrich was born in Czechoslovakia. Immigrated to Canada in October 1968 with his pregnant wife and daughter. He owned his own business B.M. Awnings since 1984.
Cremation has already taken place. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON EVENT CENTRE, 5929 Main St. on Wednesday November 29th from 6-8pm. With a private family gathering held at a later date. It would be appreciated if you could refrain from sending flowers due to allergies. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
