PAONESSA, Rosina Maria (Tavano)
Quietly called and gone to her heavenly home on Friday, December 29, 2017 from the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age 90. Loving wife of Angelo for 67 years.
Cherished mother of Rosa (Tony) De Angelis. Devoted and loved Nonna of Thomas (Elizabeth) and Angelo (Mandy). Bis Nonna of Aria Rose and Evan Ross. Dear sister of Domenico (Peppina) Tavano and Concetta (Antonio) Artirio and sister-in-law of Luigi (Franceschina) Paonessa, Giuditta Paonessa and Antonio (late Maria Costantina) Paonessa. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her infant daughter Marianna, parents; Salvatore and Marianna Tavano and her siblings; Giuseppe, Vincenzo, Maria Giuseppa, Santina and Edolinda.
The family will receive family and friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Scapular Church, 6557 Thorold Stone Rd., Niagara Falls, on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of committal to follow in Pleasantview Mausoleum, Fonthill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either the Arthritis Society or to Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
