LIEFL, Frank Matthew
March 6, 1929 – January 3, 2018
Frank peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the age of 88 years at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. He was the husband and best friend of Betty (nee Kiefer) for 66 years and loving father of Mary Ann Millar (Kevin), and grandfather to Hugh and Kyle Millar (Jessica), loving father of Frank P. Liefl (Marilyn) and grandfather to Curtis Liefl (Laura) and Mark Liefl (Becky), loving father of John P. Liefl (Linda) grandfather to David Liefl (Farran), loving father of Tom P. Liefl (Barbara) and grandfather to Amy Liefl (Brian) and Jessica Liefl (Alex) and great grandfather to 5 great grandchildren.
Popsie loved to travel, enjoyed model ship building and was an avid fan of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and the Detroit Tigers.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St, Niagara Falls. Those who wish, may make a memorial donation to Diabetes Canada: Niagara Region Branch or to Alzheimer’s Society of Niagara Region.
