Life Story for Kathleen Ann "Kaye" Clark (Hogle)

Kathleen Ann "Kaye" Clark (Hogle)
CLARK, Kathleen Ann, RN - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kaye Clark, after a short illness at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 76. Beloved Wife of Ted and dear Mother of Glen, James and Julie. Proud loving Grandma of Izaak, Landen and Zoe. Kaye came to Canada with her Mom Doris, a war bride, on the Queen Mary where they lived in Montreal until her father was discharged from the army in 1946, and lived in B.C. before settling in Oshawa, ON. Kaye loved to travel on board cruise ships, and that is where she met Ted on board the “Empress of England” while travelling to England to visit family, and eventually convinced him to come to Canada where they were married. She was a registered nurse, working at various hospitals in Ontario, and was the head nurse at Oakwood Park Lodge before her retirement. Kaye was an avid gardener and weather permitting, would be seen outside in her gardens attending to her many shrubs and flowers.
A special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at GNGH for your kindness and compassion, and for taking such good care of Kaye and keeping her comfortable.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street on Wednesday, February 7th from 7-9 pm. Memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon, February 8th at 2 o’clock. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
