Obituary for Alison Lauchlan Irwin
IIRWIN, Alison Lauchlan - Peacefully, on February 24, 2024 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late George Hill (1980) and the late Bob Irwin (2012).
Loving mother of the late Alan Hill (Rosemary), Alicia Burchiel (Jim), Janine Harris (Clyde), Alison Terpstra (John), David Hill and Michele Hill.
Proud grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 21 and great great grandmother of one.
Cherished sister of the late May Vout (Lorne) and late Tom Cowan (Arlene), Gilbert Cowan (Sandy) and Bill Cowan (Diana).
She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Wednesday, February 28th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A service to celebrate Alison’s life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 29th at 12:30. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
