Obituary for Audrey Lois Willick
WILLICK, Audrey Lois (nee Dow) July 22, 1928 – June 7, 2022
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Audrey Lois Willick (nee Dow) in her 94th year on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Welland County Hospital after a short illness. Predeceased by her loving husband Raymond and children Donna, Gregory, Mary Ellen, grandson Jeffrey, daughter-in-law Darlene Willick and son-in-law William Sawyer. Mom was also predeceased by her parents Eva and Leslie Dow; brothers, Doug, Sterling, Jack and Glenn and her sister Shirley and her sister-in-laws Isobel Willick, Clark McKenney, Marilyn Dow, Nellie Francis, Eileen Dow and by brother-in-laws James Willick, Rodney McKenney, Eric Francis, Earl Brooks and Charlie Smith. Left behind to mourn her loss are her sister Ida Brooks, brothers Claude (Judy) Dow, Bud (Trudy) Dow; and sister-in-laws Sharon Dow and Eleanor Dow. Mom’s spirit lives and legacy continues on with her children: Kathleen Houtby (Doug), Barb Scholtens (Henry), Ray Willick (Jean), and Russ Willick (Lee Ann). Her grandchildren: John Houtby (Trish), Todd Willick (Amanda), Kyle Willick (Kirstin), Ryan Willick, Stacey Willick, Jennifer Potestio (Dion), Jeremy Willick, Christopher Willick (Zoe) and Christine Houtby. great grandchildren: Jordan Houtby, Ethan Houtby, Liv Houtby, Stan Houtby, Gram Willick, Annalea Potestio, Katelyn Potestio, Melina Willick, Adam Willick, Matteo Goodman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. Niagara Falls. As per Mom’s wishes cremation will take place and a private family interment and celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
