SCOTT, B. Catherine “Kate” – Passed away on October 27, 2022 at the Eventide Home at the age of 73 with Shirley Grimwood, her Life Partner of 42 years by her side. Dear sister of Hazen Scott (Joan) and Freddy Scott (Inese Plaivins). Kate is predeceased by her brother Barry Scott (Beth) and her sister Carol Ann Kozak (Steve). Kate will be missed by all her nieces and nephews. Kate was a Purchasing Agent for the I.O.F. She served many years on the Board of Directors for Niagara Regional Literacy Council and was a member of the Niagara Handweavers & Spinners. Kate and Shirley enjoyed travelling the roads of North America flying their Kites. Kate is no longer using her cane to pole vault boulders; she is dancing in the spiritual world.
Cremation has been entrusted to the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Niagara Regional Literacy Council.
