HEIN, Barbara – Passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday January 30, 2023 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Helmut Hein (2006). Loving mother of Linda (Eddie) Arnold and Henry Hein. Caring Oma of Matthew (Natalie) Arnold, Andrew (Ashley) Arnold, Jeremy (Marylee) Arnold, and Karen and Kelly Hein. Cherished great-oma of Emilia, Jemma, Isabelle, Elin, Fiona, Jack, and Violet. Dear sister of Peter Stocker (Germany) and the late Katarina Stojadinovic (1973). Sister in-law of Ernst (Janice) Hein. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces Vera Lazic and Helen Bayley, as well as many more. Barbara’s family would like to thank her care givers Lynn, Helen and Paul for the wonderful care and compassion they shared with her.

Friends and family are invited to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Sunday February 5, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Barbara will be celebrated at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard, 3900 Dorchester Rd, Niagara Falls, on Monday February 6, 2023, at 10 am. Interment at Lundy's Lane Cemetery will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, Barbara's family requests for those who wish to make a memorial donation in her remembrance to either Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Niagara-on-the-Lake Palliative Care, or The Walker Family Cancer Centre.
