Obituary for Bradley Micheal Jenkins

Bradley Micheal Jenkins (November 15, 1993 to April 23, 2021)

Heaven got a special angel on April 23, 2021. Brad was loved and thought highly of by so many. Often times though, he felt alone. He was a hard worker and gave it his all. Being very strong, he would do any heavy lifting with ease. Demolition, construction, even helping his Mom build a wall around her garden, just to make her happy. That was the kind of person he was. He just wanted others to smile.

Growing up he could do no wrong in his eyes. His sister, in his words, was the culprit for every wrong doing. Like most siblings, they grew closer as they got older and started to look out for one another.

Brad loved playing sports, starting out with soccer, where our gentle giant would stop and help up the kids that took a tumble. Brad constantly tried to stick up for others, the great defender, coming to the aid of many in his short life. He was a great defenceman on his high school football team, he also played running back where he scored his first touch down, he was my star, my everything.

We never imagined we would run out of time, or not have another adventure together. He was only 27, so much more life to live, so much more love to give.

Brad had such a captivating smile, winning the hearts of many. He loved to go fishing and exploring in the gorge with his Dad. Happy memories that can never be taken away.

He is survived by Mike Jenkins (Dad), Catherine and Vince Moyer (Mom and Step-Dad), Kayla Jenkins (sister), Dante Jenkins (nephew), Linda Graf (grandma), Lorraine Moyer (grandma), Adele and Emmett Jenkins(grandparents), as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

This is such a small glimpse into Brad’s life and those who knew him have their own memories that they can keep close to their hearts.

Rest easy, you are now at peace and your demons will no longer win. Stay close to Grandpa Graf, as he has so many things to teach you. Until we meet again, watch over us and remember we love you now and forever.
