Obituary for Christos Tzellos

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Christos Tzellos who is now in the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Monday, May 9, 2022 in his 82nd year.
Predeceased by his parents Apostolos and Magdalene Tzellos in Karditsa, Greece. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Constantina (Nastopoulos) and his children Magdalene (Adam), Paul (Graziella), Peter (Clarissa), Anna (Mike) and his 12 grandchildren whom he cherished. Chris came to Canada in 1967 with nothing but a suitcase and built a wonderful life for his family. Leaving behind a work ethic and faith legacy like no other. He loved his time on the farm, in tractors, transports and reading his Bible every day. He valued family time and was always peaceful and content when surrounded by all his grandchildren. He will be missed by many until the day we are reunited in glory. He fought the good fight of faith and now lays hold of the eternal life to which he was called when he made his good confession.
Visitation will be held at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The first Thrice Holy Hymn Service/Trisagio will take place on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 at 8 p.m. at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME. The second Thrice Holy Hymn Service/Trisagio followed by the Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 13th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church, (585 Niagara Street, St. Catharines, Ontario), with the final Thrice Holy Hymn Service/ Trisagio Service to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish, may make a memorial donation to St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church.
