RUDYK, Claudia Anne, nee, Sloniowski,
Gone to her heavenly home to be with her Creator.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claudia, after a heroic effort by herself and Greater Niagara General Hospital, her own struggle to live became insurmountable, and after 20 days, she peacefully died in her sleep with her husband Edward and family at her bedside. Claudia died on Tuesday evening, June 11, 2019 in her eightieth year of a marvelously successful life of accomplishment and devotion to family and friends, and the community.
Beloved wife of Edward for 57 years. Devoted mother of sons Nathan and his wife Glenna, and Christopher Rudyk,
Adored grandmother of Stephanie and her husband Johannes, Gabriel and Aaron Rudyk, and Nicholas and Josephine Rudyk. Dear sister of Paul Sloniowski, and Joseph Sloniowski and his wife Jeannette. Fondly remembered by sister in law Patricia, many nieces, nephews, cousins and their respective families in both Canada and the United States, and many dear life time friends.
Funeral mass to celebrate the life of Claudia, will be held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6248 Main St., Niagara Falls, with the Rev. Fr. Victor Nazartchyk, on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Niagara Health Foundation- GNGH- ICU. Arrangements in care of Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, with a brief visitation and paying of last respects at this Funeral Home beginning at 9.30 a.m.
