Metcalfe, David Edward – It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing away of David at the GNGH on March 27 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Deborah Metcalfe. Dearly loved father of son Walter Metcalfe (Julie) of Dunnville, daughter Angela Metcalfe Rate (Glenn) of Dunnville, and his predeceased daughter Cindy Major (Gary) of Dunnville, Ontario. Cherished Papa, great grand Papa, brother and uncle. David was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness for 51 years. Always ready to help and listen, his quiet, gentle, kind, loving spirit will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place. A virtual memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25 at 4:30 p.m. by way of Zoom due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
