PIRAINO, Domenic Clement – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Domenic Piraino on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 65 years to Aileen (nee Schabel). Adored by his children Michael (Brenda), Cathy Boudreau (John), Vincent (Bonnie) and Mark (Krysten). Domenic was the cherished grandfather of Matthew Boudreau, Adrian Piraino, Domenic Piraino and Lily Piraino. Domenic attended the University of Buffalo for 3 years. In 1957 he joined B.F. Goodrich where he was employed for 35 years. Domenic loved family barbeques, weight lifting, and bicycling with friends on the Niagara River Recreation Trail. He also enjoyed frequent road trips with friends due to his love of travel. Sausage-making was also one of his favourite pass times. He will be dear in the hearts of his family and to all who knew him. A special thanks to the loving staff at Hospice Niagara and Dr. C. Manser for their heartfelt care.
As per Domenic’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto or the CNIB Guide Dog Program. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MORSE & SON Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street Niagara Falls.
