A celebration of life for Douglas Roy will be held on this Saturday January 7, 2023 at 2:00pm till 6:00pm, at the John Michael’s banquet and Event Centre, 1368 Upper’s Lane (Hwy # 58), Thorold, Ontario. Tribute to take place at 3:00pm. Doug was well known for his singing talent, with Elvis being his inspiration and was a second-generation owner of Roy’s Car Sales and Garage in Niagara Falls. After a long battle with illness, Doug passed on November 27, 2022, at Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 75. Beloved husband to Vivien of 24 years. Loving father of Bill (Isabell), Jon (Diana). Cherished grandfather to Eric, Victoria and Stanley. Doug will be deeply missed
by his extended grandchildren, who he loved very much. Doug was well known for his singing talent and had the opportunity to perform on stage with Elvis Presley. Doug was a second generation owner of Roy’s Car Sales and Garage, which he ran with his father Stanley, for 50 years. Arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls. As per Doug’s wishes cremation has taken place.
