Obituary for Eileen V. Eberhardt
EBERHARDT, Eileen Vila –
With broken hearts we announce the passing of Eileen Vila Eberhardt on December 23rd 2022, at the age of 69, at the Greater Niagara Hospital.
Eileen is now reunited with her parents, Alfreda (2015) and Charles (1991) Eberhardt, and with her dear brother Ray (2016). She will be missed by her sisters; Carol (the late Fred) Zahn, Dorothy (Larry) Summerville, and Marlene (Jim) Hamilton. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and her great-nieces and great-nephews. Eileen was a devoted aunt to all the children while they were growing up, being the "fun aunt" following those traits learned from her mother. Eileen’s heart always wanted the best for the kids. Lastly, we would like to acknowledge her companion Lorne Barnett who supported her unconditionally throughout the last years of her life. Thank you, Lorne for being there for Eileen through the happy and trying times, we appreciate it.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be organized for a later date, to coincide with Eileen's interment at the Eberhardt family plot in Fairview cemetery, Niagara Falls.
