Obituary for Elizabeth Mary "Betty" Kerr
KERR, Elizabeth “Betty” – Passed away peacefully at Chapel Heights Retirement Home on Saturday July 16, 2022 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Robert Kerr (2008). Loving aunt of Karen, John, Jennifer, Rebecca, Mike, Wendy, Doug, Kelly, Jay, Shannon, Darci, Alan and David. Fondly remembered by many great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Bob Darch, Bernie McQuade and Art Darch. Betty was loved by her many friends, Don Upper, Liz and Doug Standish, Sandy Lundy, Caroline McRae, Betty Johnson and Debbie Drossman.
Betty retired from A&P Tea Co. in 1987 after working there for 45 years. She was a member of All Saints Anglican Church and sang in the choir. Betty loved a game of bridge, enjoyed a game of golf and was a life member of the GNGH Auxiliary. She enjoyed her time singing acapella with the Rainbow Tone and the Buffalo Gateway Chorus.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Monday July 25, 2022, from 10 am to 12 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Niagara Falls Humane Society.
