SCHIMANN, Emil – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emil Schimann at Millennium Trail Manor on Sunday March 26, 2023 at the age of 84. Loving brother of Wilhelm (Elfriede) Schimann, Melitta (Gunther) Pauly, Renate (the late Alex) Mueller, Herta (Waldamier) Hirch and Ewald (Rosemary) Schimann. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his parents Erna and Ewald Schimann and his sister Tilly and her husband Joe Schulz. Emil was a life long resident of Niagara-on-the-Lake. HE was a master carpenter by trade working in the housing industry. Sadly, Emil was burdened by Alzheimer’s the last few years. His family is grateful for the wonderful care he received at Millennium Trail Manor and all the friends he made there.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Friday March 31, 2023 from 10 to 11 am. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Emil will take place 11am. Interment will follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer’s Society.
