MCALPINE, Eva, Emily (Scott) –Our dear mother passed peacefully on Sunday October 27. Loving mother to Christine O’Reilly, Douglas McAlpine and Robin McAlpine (Betty). Proud grandmother to Louise Vaillancourt and Sarah McAlpine, great grandmother to Tarl Vaillancourt (Katie), Tara Penney and Leigh Smonskey. Great great grandmother to Luna Louise Vaillancourt. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Violet Scott, brothers Marcus, Gordon, Ernest, Richard, Jim and sisters Dorothy, Beatrice, Mary and granddaughter Louise McMullen (2015). Survived by sister Edna Wallington (Lawrence) and many nieces and nephews. Her family wish to thank Valley Park Lodge for their exceptional care and compassion.
The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., on Saturday November 2 from 10-11am.A memorial service will be held for family and close friends at 11 am. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society.
