WIGHTMAN, Evelyn M. “Ev” (nee Munns) - Passed away peacefully, at Bradford Valley Community Care Centre in Bradford, Ontario on February 22, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Elvin (January 27, 2009). Loving mother of Sharon Wightman of Kingston and Sheila Armstrong (Doug) of Bradford. Proud grandmother of Caitlin (Colin) and the late Kristin (1996). Great grandmother of Benett and Arianna. Dear sister of Ted Munns (late Fern 2015) and the late George Munns. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ev was proud to be a great grandmother, and enjoyed visits and photos of her great grandchildren. She was an avid bridge player and belonged to two bridge clubs.
Cremation has taken place. A private inurnment will be held at Stamford Green Columbarium at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Stamford Lane United Church, Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County, or a charity of choice.
