Condolence From: John Sentineal
Condolence: I have been good friends with George since the early 1980's. George during this time was working as a financial Comptroller in Paradise Island in the Bahamas. I visited him many times there and what a pleasure that was especially in the Winter months. George was more than generous to me and my family during our stays there. George and I had coffee almost every day for the past few years. Lately we continued with social distancing as we would bring our coffee and we would remain in our respective cars and talk from a distance. It was great and we talked about everything on our minds. I must admit that George was in a great place since his marriage to his Cuban fiance and the birth of his son Nelson. He passed away as a very happy man. May he rest in peace and my sincere condolences to all of his family.

Condolence: Paul and I were saddened and shocked to hear the news of George's passing.We have know him for years and met many times in Cuba. I was just talking to him the past Monday about how he must be so looking forward to getting back to Cuba to see his beautiful wife Yaismara and his little son Nelson. He was a such a nice man and was so happy with his lovely wife whom he had been with for many years before finally getting married. We will miss him and send our condolences to the family . Condolence From: Gary Boyd
Condolence: First, I'm offering my condolences to George's wife Yaismara and his brother and sisters. I feel like I have been kicked in the stomach. George and I have met up every evening for years at the gym where we discussed his wife and new baby, the stock market and our daily activities. I emailed him last Thursday because the gym has been closed. He was angry at our Liberal government because they would not allow Yaismara to come to Canada. I went with him to Cuba in 2018 ,on one of his 6 or 7 yearly trips. He was a good friend and will be missed.
