Condolences

Condolence From: Paul and Loraine Koven and Family
Condolence: Dearest Ivanka, Megan, Nina, Vlad, Blanca and families,

Words cannot express the enormity of this tragic loss to you all and the collective sorrow we all feel. We truly grieve with you. George was such an integral part of my childhood growing up in Oakville, attending school together and spending our free time creating mischief along with Vlad and others. George was never without a big smile on his face and a song on his lips. Long after we all graduated high school and moved away from Oakville, whenever we would meet up together George would give me the biggest hug and sing his latest favorite song. He was a special individual, always full of care and love for those around him and we are all better people to have had him be a part of our lives, for much too short a time. May his memory always serve as a blessing for you.

Condolence: Works cannot describe how saddened we were to hear about George. Having worked with him, then becoming friends, was a true blessing. He was larger than life and become so important to each of us, myself, Brian and Shannon (whom he called Sha-na-na). We will think of you always.

Condolence From: Chris Lochhead aka “Clubber Lang”
Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of George’s passing. I met George at Blakelock high school some 30+ years ago, and we hit it off immediately. George and I kept in touch for the next decade or so, however we haven’t spoken in a while as we have focused on building families. I will never forget his sense of humour and ability to bring light to any room he entered. George was truly one of the good ones! Rest In Peace my friend, and as Billy Joel sang, “Only the good die young”...
