WATERS George L.- Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday April 10, 2022 at the age of 81. George is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth (nee Toth). Dearly loved father of George, Melissa, and loved Grampy of Amelia. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and will be terribly missed by all who knew him. George received his accounting designation in 1965 and opened his own accounting practice in 1972. He retired in 2017 from Waters, Meredith & Partners and was a proud resident of Niagara Falls who strongly believed in giving back to his community. George was a generous friend and business partner. Over the years, he was involved in many organizations too numerous to mention (business & charitable). Our family would like to thank the staff at GNGH and at St. Elizabeth Health Care for the exceptional care received by the doctors, nurses, and personal support workers. We are so grateful for your help, kindness, and support.
As per George’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a donation in George’s memory to GNGH, The Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Project Share. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street Niagara Falls.
