It is with deep sadness that the Hendricks family announce the passing of Gerry on August 18, 2022 at Welland County General Hospital at the age of 83. Beloved husband to Kathleen of 30 years. Gerry was previously married to Lorraine for 25 years. He is the Loving father of Marc (predeceased), Vanessa and Kyle (Raiko). Devoted step-father to Crystal (Eugene) and Stephen (Gina). Cherished grandfather to Michael, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Leanne (predeceased), Daniel, Michael, Matthew and Taylor. Proud great grandfather to Brooklyn, London Rose and Liana Grace. Gerry was a teacher in South Africa for 6 years before immigrating to Canada where he then taught for the North York Board of Education for 27 years as a Phys. Ed and math teacher. He was a great mentor and well-loved teacher by the many students who came to know him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1759 Main Street, Niagara Falls. The Hendricks family will have a memorial service on Saturday August 27, 2022 at 12:00pm at St John’s Anglican Church, 3428 Portage Road, Niagara Falls.
