MARTYN, Gerald Lawrence – Gerry went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday October 8, 2022. He will be reunited with his beloved wife Bonnie (2015) who were married for 43 years. Loving father of Amy and cherished grandfather of Chace and Ava. Caring brother of Ross (Mugsie), Stephen (Bonnie), David (Susie) and Sylvia (Ed). Dear brother in-law of Cathy (Bob), Ruth (Ray) and Mary (Bill). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Gerry’s Commitment to Christ and his community will be cherished. He upheld his responsibilities on the Board of Central Community Church (Central Gospel Temple), Elim Place and The St. Catharines Downtown Association with grace and dignity. Gerry’s kindness, transparency and sense of humor will live on in our hearts and memories. Amy wishes to thank the staff at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, especially the Rainbow Ward for their care and compassion for her father and family.
A private family interment will take place at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Gerry’s Life at Central Community Church, 680 York Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake on Saturday October 22, 2022 at 1 pm. Arrangements entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Gideons International.
