SERLUCA, Giuseppe 1933 - 2022
Passed away peacefully, on July 21, 2022 at the Chippawa Creek - Bella Care Residence, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Anna (Salvagio) of 55 years. Giuseppe was a proud farmer in Niagara-on-the-Lake for more than 20 years. He and his wife later moved to Niagara Falls where Giuseppe continued his passion for agriculture, growing fruits and vegetables that he would share with friends and family. Dear brother of Maria Serluca (Domenico), Armando Serluca, Antonio Serluca (Teresa), Luigi Serluca (Rocchina), and Rosa Serluca. Brother-in-law of Pina Vigliarolo, Gina Castrovillari, Andrea Salvagio (Lina), Giacomina Marsala, and Maria Salvagio. Predeceased by his parents Raffaele and Michelina, his brothers Francesco and Gaetano, brothers-in-law Emanuele, Antonio, Giuseppe (Joe) and Sebastiano, and sisters-in-law Carmela and Olga. Giuseppe is fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
The Serluca family will receive guests at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Tuesday, July 26 from 6-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Scapular Church on July 27 at 11am. Entombment with Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
