JOHNSTON, Heather – After a short battle with cancer Heather passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 46. Heather as a young person attended Grace Gospel Church and has now gone to be with her Lord and Saviour. Beloved mother of Sharon Johnston and Trisha Slade. Loving daughter of Murray and Jean Johnston and dear sister of Jeffrey Johnston. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Heather was creative, friendly, energetic and a person with a big heart. She graduated from Stamford Collegiate in 1993 and worked for Concentrix Centre as an Apple Consultant for several years. Heather loved going north to Miner’s Bay Lodge with the family every summer.
Under current pandemic conditions, provincial restrictions limit the number of guests at visitations, funerals and interments. A private family burial at Fairview Cemetery will take place on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11 a.m., and will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/morseandson
