KOZIAR, Heather Christina (Reid)
Passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Queenston Place Retirement Home, Niagara Falls, ON, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Koziar (2003). Loving sister of Earldeen Reid, and the late Carol Reid (2017). Cherished aunt of Susanne Wong (Perry). Great aunt of Amanda Foster (Matthew) and their sons Daniel and Joshua, Cynthia Hogan (Andrew) and their children Iris and Maxwell. Fondly remembered by friends at Queen Street Baptist Church in St. Catharines and Main Street Baptist Church in Niagara Falls.
Heather graduated from Niagara Falls General Hospital Training School for Nurses on June 4th, 1946, practicing as a nurse for many years at Long Beach California Hospital, retiring after 30 years of service. After retiring Heather and her husband Michael returned to the Niagara area in the 1980’s, where they enjoyed visiting and hosting family and friends.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 12 noon- 2 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery. A reception to follow at the Morse & Son Event Centre (next door to the funeral home). As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Project SHARE.
