Obituary for Ian Fraser Maxwell
MAXWELL, Ian Fraser- Suddenly at home, on February 26, 2023 at the age of 65. Proud father of Robert Maxwell (Karen), Shannon Maxwell and Sarah Cullum (David). Loving Papa of Alexander, Colby, Rowan and Brynlee. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Roy (Natalie), Joyce, Tracy (Bob), Kim (Ed) and Bob (Jane). Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ian is predeceased by his parents, Stewart and Isabella and his sisters Marilyn (Percy) and Darlene (Harry).
Ian was born in St. Catharines and grew up in Port Dalhousie. He enjoyed many sports and was an avid HABS fan. He loved dogs and always helped take care of them for the family, and he loved going to all of his grandson’s hockey practices and games. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cremation has taken place. Ian’s family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Saturday, March 4th from 11-1 o’clock. A celebration of Ian’s life will follow immediately at 1 pm at the funeral home. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
