Obituary for James Alvin Brown
BROWN, James Alvin- 1930- 2023
Passed away peacefully on Thursday March 16, 2023, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 92. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Jean (nee.Graham). He will be greatly missed by his children Merrill (Stephen) Pierce, Janice (John) Potts and Ward (Lucia). He was a loving Grandpa to Heather, Andrew, Katie, David and Kelly, and enjoyed the time he spent with his 12 great grandchildren.
Alvin was a transport truck driver for over 40 years working for Chemical Tank Lines, Brights Winery and Chrysler.
Alvin and Jean loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. Alvin was known for his quick wit and outgoing nature. He loved to talk and share stories with anyone who would listen.
As per Alvin’s wishes cremation has taken place, arrangements entrusted to Morse & Son Funeral Home.
