ROBINS, Joan E. (Bruce) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful mom, grandmother and Gigi. Joan was born May 28, 1930 and went home to Heaven in her 92nd year on April 10, 2022. Joan was predeceased by her husband Lewis Robins (Sept. 26, 1995). They were happily married for 46 years and had five children. Loving mother of Wayne, Mary Lou, and Susan Smith (David), mother-in-law of Brenda Robins and Philip Romanenko. Predeceased by her son Rick, daughter Nancy Romanenko, and daughter-in-law Kathy Robins. Adored grandmother of David (Tessa), Tim, Lisa, Andrew, Becky (Drew), and Kristina. Gigi of Noah, Nicholas, Ava, Alia, Oakley, Hunter and Kingsley.
Mom loved her family and enjoyed serving her community by helping with food hampers and toy drives at Christmas time through Project Share. She was afflicted with Alzheimer`s for the last six years of her life.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of Joan will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 11 a.m., with interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Donations to honour Joan can be made to either to Project Share, Niagara Falls or the Alzheimer`s Society.
