Obituary for Johann "John" Reichenbach
Reichenbach, Johann “John” 1930 – 2022
It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Johann (John) Louis Reichenbach of Niagara Falls on September 29th 2022 at the age of 92. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Elizabeth (Liz). He will be forever missed by daughter Betty Ann and son John (Deanna) and the two lights of his life his granddaughters, Alicia and Hannah.
He is also survived by his sister Teresa and brother Walter of Switzerland and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Emil and Teresa, granddaughter Denia Marie and brother Emil.
John retired from Ford Canada in 1992 and was a long-time member of St. Thomas More church. John enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, puttering around outside, going for walks and spending hours upon hours with Liz at the casino.
John's family would like to thank the staff at Bella Care Residence in Chippewa Creek, for the exceptional care they provided him these last four and a half years. They were truly our angels on Earth.
Arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls. As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The Reichenbach family will have a private inurnment at a later date. Donations to Canadian Alzheimer’s Association or to Autism Ontario South Region would be appreciated by the Reichenbach family.
