Condolence: I am sorry to hear of the passing of Jumbo. He was a very helpful, kind member of the Golf For Kids' Sake team when I was working for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara Falls. His dedication to the organization was strong and that is to be applauded. His interest in metal detecting was also something he enjoyed with my neighbour and the local metal detecting club. I know he spent many fun days with this interesting hobby. He made a wonderful contribution to this world. He will be missed.

Condolence: Many times I felt as though his nickname Jumbo was in reference to his enormous heart. I worked with Jumbo on many golf tournaments in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters - he was so passionate about the organization, and through his hard work, raised well over $100,000 in support of mentoring programs for children and youth. Condolence: Dear Linda, Shane and Dillon, We are so terribly sorry for your loss, we hold you in our thoughts and prayers. I remember Jumbo all the way back to my childhood, as the older brother of my dear friend Terry. Jumbo always watched over us, gave us great advice, helped us to set up our tents, and was the chief engineer on fort building. Our friendship stayed strong through the years, and even included a stint working together at Oxy Vinyls. Later in life and after I had moved away from the neighborhood, John kept a close eye on my elderly parents, as they were neighbors for over 40 years. Jumbo was always happy to see you, had a smile on his face and a spring in his step. I will miss my good friend, and I look forward to seeing him on the other side. God Bless
