MANKER, John – Passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the age of 50. Dearly loved brother of Margie Manker. Predeceased by his parents Dr. Edgar Manker and Elizabeth (Betty Lou) Manker and his brother Alan Manker. He leaves behind his loving family, Cal, Scott, and Jeff Lockhart, Jack Lockhart, Day, Sue, Julie, Kate, and Jamie Hannah, and friends to cherish his memory. John was loyal and caring. He served as an Officer in the Canadian Navy and as an Air Defence Operations and Intelligence specialist in the US Army during the Cold War.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at Christ Church 4750 Zimmerman Avenue, Niagara Falls on Saturday, June 22 from 11:30am to 12 pm. A Memorial Service in celebration of John’s Life will be held at 12 pm. Interment at Fairview Cemetery will follow a reception at the church hall. In memory of John, memorial contributions may be made to the Last Post Fund and would be appreciated by his family. Rest in peace, John. We will miss you.
