Condolence: My memory is of a little girl playing in the yard on a hot September day with her Uncle. A little girl who held a special place in his heart. Julianne was different from all the other kids and he knew that feeling. He was so worried that she would be placed in the shadows and hidden away. I know in my heart that George would be so proud of his little brother and of his amazing wife. Everyone talks about the strength and determination that Julianne had, but few people realize where it came from. It came from her mom and dad. You had the choice of what path to put her on and you chose well. You two put that little girl in the sun and let her shine. You put the roots beneath her feet to make her strong... like a tree in the wind, nothing could break her. You both made her what she was, and that is truly a gift.
