Obituary for June Anna Thomas (Shipman)
THOMAS, June Anna- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, on March 24th, 2023 at the age of 91.
Cherished wife of the late William for 58 years (2015). Dearly loved mother of three daughters and their families: Jan DiMartino and her children Thomas (Cynthia) and Eduardo; Sharon Finucci (Vito) and their children Brittany (Angus), Nathan (Meagan), Damon (Vanessa) and Adrian; Barb Belleville (Luc) and their daughter Trisha (Christian). Great grandmother of Louie and Oscar Finucci, Leonardo and Camila Finucci, and Bellamy and Aurora Boncore.
June was an incredibly kind and gentle soul, who will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
June is resting at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, where her family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 28th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 29th at 1 o’clock. For those unable to attend the service, it will be live-streamed on Morse & Son’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/morseandson).
Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Sari Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Community Living (London, ON), or to Willoughby Manor.
