It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leonard Shalanko
On April 4th 2023 at Tabor Manor Radiant Care, at the age of 92. Now reunited with his wife Colleen (d. 2015) in their heavenly home.
Devoted father of Gloria Wiebe (John), and Alison Wiebe (d. 1993) (Sam).
Adored grandfather of Lisa, Michelle (d.2015), Sunnee, Trevor, and great-grandfather of Michael, Billy, Matthew, and Nik.
Dear brother of Irene, Elnora, and Louise. Predeceased by siblings, Neela, Diane, Ruth, Kay, Jack, Marie, Vera, and Danny.
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. O’Reilly and all the caring staff at Tabor Manor long term care, and to Pastor Don for all his support and care during our time of need.
As per Leonard’s Wishes cremation has taken place, arrangements entrusted to Morse & Son Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Leonard will be held at Grace Community Church, 241 St. Davids Road, Thorold on Saturday April 15th, 11am.
