Jaeger, Leta Frances 1926 – 2022
It is with deep sadness that the Jaeger family announce Leta’s passing at Eventide Long Term Care on July 23, 2022, at the age of 96. Beloved wife to Jules Theodore (‘Ted’, pre-deceased 2021) for 71 years. Loving mother of Brian (Elaine), Rick and Jeff (Sally). Cherished grandmother to Chandra, Bret (Sarah), Amanda (Chris), Courtney, Rachel (Zakk). Proud great grandmother to Bentley and Kinsley. Leta is pre-deceased by her brothers Theron, Elvin, Roy, Lorne and sisters Muriel, Noreen and Nora. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Margaret, Periette and Jessica. Leta attended Welland High School where she met Ted. They were married and moved to Beaverdams, then later moved to St. Catharines, where they raised three boys. Leta was a long-time employee with Sears Canada, retiring at age 69. The Jaeger Family would like to thank all the staff at Eventide Long Term Care for their dedication and kindness shown to Leta during her time with them. Arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. Niagara Falls. As per Leta’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Wellandport. Donations to the Eventide Long Term Care would be greatly appreciated by the Jaeger Family.
