Obituary for Louis Edward Anderson

ANDERSON, Louis Edward – Passed away on December 2, 2020 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Darlene for 62 years. Dearly loved father of Brent (Laurie) and Craig (Diem) Anderson. Loving granddad of Mercedes (Josh), Christen (Elliot), Merlin, Angela, and Sophia . Brother-in-law of Jack Bradley. Uncle of Wayne (Belinda) Bradley, Sandra Bradley (Tony), Cheryl (Joe) Kelly and Lynn Cole. Predeceased by his parents Louis A. and Ruby Anderson, his grandson Maverick, his sister Jean Bradley, his brother-in-law Don (the late Dorothy) Cole, and nephew Don Cole Jr. Louis was born in Brantford March 26, 1936 and moved to Chippawa when he was 11 years old. As a teen, he delivered the Review and the Gazette to the four corners of Chippawa. He set pins at the Chippawa Bowling Alley. In 1956, he became the treasurer of Satan Car Club. Louis went on to coach minor league baseball and hockey and attended Stamford Collegiate. He started at Norton Abrasives in 1953 as a mail clerk and progressed through the company for 47 years retiring in 2000 as Senior Staff Accountant. Under current pandemic conditions, regulations have been set in place that limit the number of visitors allowed in the funeral home at a given time. Visitation will be held at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm. As attendance for visitation and service is limited, attendees must pre-register at https://www.morseandson.com/memorials/louis-anderson/4452734/index.php . A Private Service with interment at Fairview Cemetery will take place at a later date. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on facebook.com/morseandson on Friday December 11 at 10:30am.
