Obituary for Lynda "Lyn" Corfield (Heeney)
CORFIELD, Lynda “Lyn” (nee Heeney)–
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that the anchor of our family, Lyn, has left to be with her heavenly father, on Friday November 24th, 2023, at home, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late David Corfield (1998) for 36 years. Devoted mother of David and Daniel (Shawna). Dear sister of Jane Lowrey, Teresa Lovell, and Robert (Ann) Heeney. Lovingly remembered as grandma, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Lyn was passionate about all things family, and a devoted and faithful servant to her Niagara Worship Centre church family.
The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Tuesday November 28th, 2023, between 11am and 1pm. A celebration to honour a life well lived, will begin at 1pm with a private family only interment to follow. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Niagara Worship Centre’s Christmas Eve Dinner Fund, to bless families in need, an event that was very near and dear to Lyn’s heart.
