Condolence From: Cathy Harrington
Condolence: So saddened to hear the news of Lynn's passing. I had the opportunity to work with Lynn for almost 10 years at Lutherwood as we worked together to build housing services. What a tremendous legacy she has left. I will remember her wonderful laugh, warm hugs, continual optimism and encouragement, and most of all her compassion and commitment for some of the most vulnerable residents in our community. Let us all be inspired to carry on Lynn's vision , values and compassion for each other and our community.
With a heavy heart,
Cathy Harrington

Condolence From: Dennis and Elizabeth Huss
Condolence: When we learned of Lynn's cancer it was a shock and an immediate concern. Later we talked to Lynn and offered our support and prayers. Lynn has had a significant impact on our lives via her enthusiasm, smile, compassion and interest in our various life pursuits. We always appreciated Lynn's presentations at church and when we travelled to Central America we made a side stop to El Salvador to be with her and share two days of visiting with the community she was associated with in that country. I (Dennis) served on the church council with Lynn and I can relate that she will be very, very badly missed in so many ways. Our sincere condolences to all in her family. We truly feel your loss but the memories will remain forever!

Condolence: To Lynn's family: I am very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure to know Lynn by attending MSW program at Wilfrid Laurier in the Community Development stream. I recall her infectious and free laughter!
I heard of her work afterwards with the Salvation Army. It doesn't surprise me that she continued to have success in the related field. Very nice to hear about her volunteering in El Salvador and involvement with Westminster UC.
A kind soul and big loss.
My thoughts are with you at this time.

Her passing is a huge loss for the many communities and people she was connected to. I am a better person for having known Lynn. My thoughts are with her family and close friends at this time.

Condolence: Deeply saddened by the news of Lynn's passing. I had the honor of meeting Lynn in fellowship at Westminster United Church, where she looked out and welcomed me like a mother, especially through difficult times. I certainly will miss you Lynn, and you'll always have a special place in my heart. May God let your soul rest in eternal peace.

Condolence: I had the immense pleasure of working with Lynn as a staff member when she served on the board of the Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario. Unwavering in her support of staff and our work, fiercely passionate about ending homelessness, always ready with a smile and a sparkle in her eye, Lynn was a treasure. She will be missed, deeply.

Condolence: I am honoured to be a friend of Lynn's. We met in 2011 as she prepared for a mission with the United Church of Canada to El Salvador. She was the easiest person to get along with, to have fun with, and to talk with. What a compassionate soul! And dear friend. Blessings to all who knew and loved Lynn especially Karen, Brian and Rachel and family. Is she not in all our hearts?

Condolence: I met Lynn when she came to Nova Scotia to be present at the wedding of her sister Karen and she was one of those people that you instantly liked. Her laugh was contagious and I know she will be dearly missed by Karen, Brian and her beloved Rachel who she adored. And she always talked fondly of Uncle Bruce and Aunt Betty. Please accept my very sincere condolences to all of Lynn's family. Wishing you peace to bring you comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.
