Obituary for Mark Anthony Vipari
VIPARI, Mark Anthony- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad and grampy at the age of 66, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mark is survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Antonietta (Toni, nee Colangelo); daughters Tiana, Alisa (Danny) and Bianca; grandson Frankie; brother Hank (Carol) Vipari and sisters Teresa (Rick) Calisina and Michele (Tom) McGrath; mother-in-law Beatrice Colangelo and brother-in-law Donato (Lucia) Colangelo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mark is predeceased by his parents Eleanor and Henry Vipari, sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Tony Giovinazzo, niece Teresa Rose Derksen and father-in-law Francesco Colangelo.
Mark was born and lived in Niagara Falls all of his life, but loved to vacation often in the Caribbean. Mark enjoyed working at Lococo’s for many years, but more recently liked being semi-retired to take care of his little buddy, Frankie. He was a simple, yet wonderful man and we hope his sarcasm and jokes brought some joy and laughter to many lives. He will be greatly missed. Thank you for all the love and support.
At Mark’s request, cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Monday, June 5th from 4-9 pm. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning, June 6th at 11 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to Food4Kids Niagara would be greatly appreciated by the family.
