Obituary for Maureen Evelyn "Moe" Campisano

CAMPISANO, Maureen Evelyn “Moe” –

It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Maureen Campisano. Predeceased by her husband Fred Campisano, parents Linda and Norman Sweet, and sister-in-law Cindy. Beloved mother of Kelli, and dearly loved granny to Connor. Survived and lovingly missed by in-laws, Mick, Marg, Rick, Diane, and Kathy. Aunt Moe will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Maureen had an empathetic nature and kind heart that was felt by many. She was a huge lover of all animals and had a special fondness for elephants and rottweilers.
She was employed for many years as a frontline counsellor at Niagara Women in Crisis.
Maureen suffered a stroke that she battled for years leaving her confined to a wheelchair. Her limited mobility didn’t slow her down for enjoying time with her grandchild, with whom she shared such a special bond. She enjoyed scenic car rides with her Tim’s coffee, shopping excursions, and relaxing outdoors with her favourite playlist of music.
She is now at peace with her soulmate and husband, whom she so sadly missed. All the love she gave will forever live in our hearts.

As per Moe’s wishes cremation has taken place, interment to occur at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Morse and Son Funeral Home.
As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to The Niagara Falls SPCA and Humane Society in honour of Moe’s love of animals.
