Michelle was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her parents Mic and Pat Elvy (predeceased) emigrated with her from England in 1955. They landed in Niagara-on-the-Lake where she met the love of her life Joe. Married for 63 years, together they had two daughters, Julie Weeks (Glenn) and Hilary Unger and was the proud Nanna of Scott and Alexander.
In retirement Michelle enjoyed criss-crossing Canada and the U.S. with Joe in their R.V. as well as gardening, knitting blankets for donation, and supporting various causes and charities.
A consummate English Lady she was fiercely proud and proper, always stylish and chic. She also had a twinkle in her eye and enjoyed a pint and lunch at their favourite local. Always friendly, Michelle was happy to talk to everyone and anyone…especially if they were walking their dog.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Wed 29 June from 12 - 2 pm at Morse and Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls. Interment will take place after for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers donations to the Humane Society would be gratefully received.
