Obituary for Mike Liscio
LISCIO, Mike- It is with heavy hearts and many tears, that we announce the peaceful passing of Mike Liscio into the presence of His Lord, on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 at the age of 76, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Mike was the loving husband of Ada VanderWal. Also survived by his 98-year-old mother, Rocchina Liscio. Loving father of Leonardo, Elio and the late Ricky. Dear brother of Tony, Mary, late Vito and Rocky. Proud grandfather of seven grandchildren.
All who were blessed to have known Mike, recall that he lived a very interesting and meaningful life to the fullest. He was always full of energy, had a positive attitude and a knack for math and numbers. In his quiet time, he would enjoy a cigar. The casino was one of his favourite getaways. Mike will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life to honor Mike, will be held at 1 o’clock on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Redeemer Bible Church, 3017 Montrose Rd., Niagara Falls. Light refreshments to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
