Obituary for Milan Macesic

MACESIC, Milan ``Mile``- Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer at Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday October 27, 2020 at the age of 45. Beloved husband to Andja for 10 years. Loving father of Milan and Marko. Caring son of Branko and Milja Macesic and son-in-law of Veljko and Olga Stanojcic. Dear brother of Nada (Dan) Cucuz and brother-in-law of Jelena (Ivan) Fiscaletti and Aleksa (Irena) Stanojcic. Uncle of Juliana, Emilia, Priscilla, Freya, Aleksa and Oliver. Fondly remembered and sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, kumovi and friends.
Mile loved life and he tried to live each day to its fullest. He knew time was precious and that each moment had to count. His love of all sports was evident to all that knew him (Da Bears, Go Flyers Go) and he took great pride in his family because family was everything to him.
The family would like to thank his health care teams at Princess Margaret, Toronto General and Mount Sinai Hospitals for the wonderful care he received for the past 17 years.
