We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, who passed away peacefully at the age of 94. She always had words of wisdom to share, loving embraces, selfless acts, a brave heart, and strength of a giant. She left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Her life was not always sweet, but she found solace in her family and was able to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. She had a heart that knew no bounds, and she always went above and beyond to make sure those around her felt loved and cared for. She leaves behind a legacy and a family that dearly loves her. She will always be a loving mother of Milan, grandmother of Jovan and Jelena, Aleksandar, Dusan and Katarina. Great-grandmother to 12 beautiful kids and was blessed to receive a great-great-grandchild. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Serbia. Predeceased by her husband Mileta, son Slobodan, and daughter-in-law Sava.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Pomen will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 8 p.m. Funeral will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, and then services will commence at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church at 11 a.m. Interment Lundy`s Lane Cemetery, with reception to follow at Delphi Banquet Hall, 4414 Portage Rd., Niagara Falls. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to St. George & St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church or send flowers to Morse & Son Funeral Home.
