Smiljanic, Milica - We are very saddened to announce the passing of Milica, peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on August 5, 2021 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Rade and cherished mother of Dara and Mira (Milan). Her warmth and generosity will be dearly missed by her family: loving cousin of Jana (Rade) Bosancic family, aunt of Dejan (Jelena) Milovanovic family, Mirjana (Rade) Gvozdenovic family, sister-in-law of Bude (late Mirjana) Smiljanic family and Mira Smiljanic and aunt to Mirjana (Dragan) Brajinovic family, Budimir (Jovana) Knezevic family and Nikola Knezevic. Her kind, gentle, giving nature was the heart and soul our family. Vecnaja Pamjat!
Under current pandemic conditions, provincial restrictions limit the number of guests at visitations. All visitors must wear a face mask and practice physical distancing. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, between 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church, 6085 Montrose Rd., Niagara Falls, on Monday, August 9th at 11:00. Relatives and friends who wish to attend must RSVP online. Interment at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery to follow. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a donation to the St George & Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church.
