It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of Muriel Marie on March 4, 2023, at Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of 50 + years to John Pivarnyik (predeceased). Loving mother of David Pivarnyik (predeceased), Debbie Willett, and Peter Pivarnyik (Lynn). Cherished grandmother of Jamie Rocco (Sandro), Warren Pivarnyik (Bekah), Cory Willett (Whitney), and Jordyn Pivarnyik (Keiran) and her long-time friend (ex mother-in-law of) Wayne Willett. Proud Great grandmother of Paisley and Hartley Rocco. She is survived by her sisters Francoise, Suzanne, Carole. Muriel is predeceased by her siblings Jean Marie, Terese, Monique, Alain. Lovingly remembered aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Muriel Marie was born in Hawkesbury, Ontario. She loved to visit her grandfather’s farm to see the cows even though she was afraid of them, but would never admit that to her grandfather. As a past time, she loved to ice skate, play cards with her many friends, and travel. She loved babysitting her grandchildren and her great grandchildren became the love of her life. She proudly bragged about them to everyone she spoke with. Arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls. As per Muriel Marie's wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
