Obituary for Olive Beatrice Lennox
LENNOX, Olive Beatrice – Passed away peacefully at Post Inn Village in Oakville on Monday January 2, 2023 at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Lennox (2004). Loving mother of Gloria (Barry) Gaston, Vernon (Jannette) Lennox and the late Paul Anthony (Linda) Lennox (2020). Caring grandmother of Robin (Marty), Trish (Chris), Kelly (Paul), Kristy (Don), Scott, Leslie (Jamie), Robert (Viesha), Mark (Kaitlyn), and Kimberly. Great-grandmother of Ryan, Dylan, Matthew, Kayla, Ashley, Brooke, Kohen, Justin, Thomas, Kailey, Duncan, Cormack, Madden, Mia, Annelies, and Elwood. Great-great-grandmother of Harper Olive, Weslie and Quinn. Predeceased by her 7 siblings. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Olive was a full-time mom raising her 3 children. She volunteered with many charities and organizations in the communities the family lived in while her husband Maurice worked in finance for Royal Bank. Olive and Maurice enjoyed spending time at the family cottage up north in Red Bay and down south in Florida. Olive had the amazing opportunity to cruise around the world. In Olive’s spare time she enjoyed gardening, knitting, painting, curling, playing bridge, golf and no matter her age, she was always up to date with what everyone in her family was up to.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Wednesday January 11, 2023, from 10 am to 12 pm. A funeral service will then be held at Holy Trinity Church, 7820 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Following this, guests are invited to Betty's Restaurant at 8921 Sodom Rd, Niagara Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for those who wish to do so, to make a donation to the MS Society.
